Marin Community Foundation Offers $500K For Virus Response

Marin Community Foundation has offered to supply $500,000 in matching funds to bolster the county's response to the coronavirus emergency.

The supervisors did not discuss whether they would authorize the expenditure during their weekly meeting, which was abbreviated due to the emergency.

A third of Marin County students are eligible for free or reduced-cost lunch, which means their family income can't exceed $644 per week.
